It all started when I was 16.
I had just run away from care and moved into a hostel.
The first day there, I smoked my first drug – weed.
It was the best feeling I had. So I decided to take it up as a habit.
For a couple weeks, I would be smoking about 3.5g a day, costing me £30 a day – which I didn’t have
Then one day, a couple of my so-called friends robbed a shop.
He got three black bags full of all sorts of legal highs such as:
- sniff (go Caine)
- pills (happy pills, benzo fury)
- a f*ckl load of herbal incense (Pandora’s box, exodus damnation, clockwork)
He came to the hotel, telling me he had legal highs.
At this point, I thought legal – what harm could it do?
I couldn’t be more stupid.
I asked him, how much does it cost? He said “eleven quid”, but it would last longer than weed.
So I decided to start smoking this instead of buying 3 Grams a week costing me £22.
After about six months, I met a guy who said he could get it for 5 pounds on the street, so I went onto buying 4 Grams a week which would cost £20 a week.
I did this for about 4 yrs, until it has now gotten to the point where I can’t keep any food down.
I have been of the stuff for 19 days, and my symptoms keep getting worse.
I have tried getting of the stuff & ditching my mates on it to keep me away from the stuff, but it would play on my mind over and over until I had my fix.
If you’re in the same position I am in, the only way I have been able to last this long without it is from the help of my mum.
I’ve had to keep myself in her house, because if I stayed at mine I would just get up and find my fix.
The only way to get off of this stuff is to have someone who has a LOT of patience to help you.
You will not be able to do it yourself, as the withdrawal symptoms are as bad as crack and heroin.
It is going to be a long, painful row to get off the stuff. You are gunna have to really wanna get off it.
If you don’t, you are gunna end up dying from this – and it ain’t going to be quick, believe me.
