I’m so excited to tell my story!
After trying to quit cold turkey, I found myself with the ridiculous withdrawals ever! I was puking; I had hot/cold sweats, anxiety, agitation, just to name a few symptoms…
BUT I’ve figured it out, and I officially quit smoking spice without my withdrawal symptoms!
I hope this helps everyone out there!
December 22 – I bought my last bag.
December 22, 23, 24 – I smoked like this: I load my pipe with fresh spice, take a hit or two, then I dump the ashes out into an ashtray for later use (some are ash, some are spice pieces). Save it all!!!
Also, my pipe accumulates resin, so I occasionally scrape it out with a paper clip and separate it into small balls with the ashes and spice pieces. save this too!!!
December 25 – Fresh spice batch is now entirely out. Time to turn to my ashtray and time to slow down smoking dramatically!
I just load my pipe with the freshest spice pieces left first saving ashes and resin for later use.
December 26, 27, 28 – I’m continuing to dramatically slow down smoking the ashes and an occasional resin ball with ashes (you still get high because there are chemicals in the ashes and resin but not as many chemicals in fresh spice, so you’re weaning off of it slowly like this).
[Tip for smoking resin-insert a thick screen so resin burns correctly, otherwise it’ll melt to the edges and won’t burn]
Dec 29 – I did have to get up at night to take a small hit because I felt a withdrawal coming but it was a very tiny hit of ashes, and it did the trick; my withdrawal went away very quickly. I woke up later and went as long as I could without smoking to see if a withdrawal would happen… I didn’t smoke for the whole day, and I haven’t had any withdrawals!
December 30 – I’ve officially gone more than 24 hours without smoking and I feel great today!
I’m ready to ring in the New Year drug-free!
