I’ve read a few of the stories posted on this site, and I’m aware I haven’t had the struggle of some of the other posters.
However, in the last week I have started to realize what an incredible crime it is to allow synthetic pot to be sold to anyone, anywhere. This drug is in NO way like marijuana, and anyone who deliberately misleads anyone into thinking it is, should have to face severe penalties. This drug is severely damaging people’s lives, and the people responsible should be HELD TO ACCOUNT.
Luckily for me, as a UK citizen, we have been in a lot of ways second out of the traps with synthetic marijuana, and some of the most damaging chemicals (or at least the ones KNOWN to be damaging) have already been made fully illegal. As with other countries, though the UK has banned Synthetic Marijuana and made it a Class B drug, the vampires who sell it keep changing the chemical compounds so they can take advantage of the loophole in the law.
I have been smoking roughly 0.2 gramme of synthetic marijuana more or less daily for about 4 months. I will never smoke it again.
There have been two occasions where I thought I would have heart attacks, I was twitching and sweating buckets. Last week, I counted helplessly as my heart rate, though I was sitting down, reached 190 bpm. If I was ten years older, that may well have killed me.
The next day, that seemed like a distant memory. I was smoking again!!! WTF?! What IS this stuff??
Yesterday, like a true Englishman (and because I’d run out of coffee) I brewed myself a nice strong cup of tea, then another. I smoked a little synthetic and something wonderful happened – one of the chemicals in the tea, I suspect Theophylline, which increases the force and rapidity of the heartbeat, DID NOT LIKE THE SYNTHETIC FILTH AT ALL.
I smoked about half what I would normally, and had about 4 cups of STRONG tea (the way we like it!). Not only did it feel as if the tea was FORCING the crap out of my system, the other stimulants in the brew (Theobromine & L-theanine) SLOWED my heart rate and lowered my blood pressure making the experience much more drawn out, meaning I didn’t want to smoke as much.
It felt like the end point for me. I have no desire to continue to smoke. But I DO have the desire to drink lots of tea!!! I feel NO need to smoke any of that filth anymore.
Reading some stories of poor souls who have diminished intelligence because of this disgusting stuff scared me half to death. In my view, ANYTHING that lowers human intelligence is the enemy of any human achievement or culture.
My advice to anyone trying to kick the spice habit – drink lots of tea, and, if you want, lie back and think of England!!
I really hope this helps somebody out there.
