Look, I figured I was smart, and that I could just do some research and avoid some of the pitfalls of Spice.
I think I even visited this website at one point, but mostly just skimmed it. But don’t do it. This stuff isn’t weed. If you can’t smoke weed, don’t go to Spice.
However, my older sister also used to live with my dad, and with all the crap she’s smoked, snorted, or drunk, it’s a wonder that she’s still alive.
Because of this, my dad up front told me that he would randomly drug test me, and if I failed, I could find somewhere else to live.
I figured that was fair, and since I needed to be clean for job applications it wasn’t much of a problem, so I just went ahead and stopped using anything altogether.
However, once I got a job, and things had settled a little bit, I wanted to start smoking weed again, but didn’t want to get screwed on a drug test.
So, after a little bit of research I figured, what the hell, spice can’t be all that bad.
I picked up some ADB-Fubinaca from the deep web, and when it finally arrived, I rolled up and smoked.
Honestly, it was a very powerful and vivid high, and I didn’t notice any side effects. In fact, I almost couldn’t feel it anymore after about an hour.
Since this stuff is way cheaper than weed, I thought I’d found the perfect thing: doesn’t take much to get you high, cheap, won’t screw you on a drug test.
Oh, how wrong I was. First, I started noticing that my dependency was increasing rather quickly. The first time I smoked, it was three tokes from a blunt, and then I had to put it out.
It was like this for a while, but after about a week I started having to smoke more to get the same high. By the time I quit, I could go through the whole blunt.
At this point, I’d gone through around 2 ounces of this stuff in about a month. When I finished the first ounce, I didn’t notice anything wrong at all.
There was actually about a week between finishing the first ounce and receiving the second, and I didn’t have a single symptom of withdrawal.
After finishing the second ounce, I went to bed, and when I woke up the next morning, promptly threw up.
I had the day off of work, so I figured it was just food poisoning or a GI bug. Got some rest, ate crackers, and drank water.
Threw it all up. I couldn’t even drink water without throwing up. This continued for a week. I couldn’t eat anything without seeing it within the next five minutes.
Water came up on a slightly longer delay, which was probably a godsend to keep me from being dehydrated. By the end of the week I was the living dead.
I had no energy, couldn’t sleep, and was straight up starving. I was still in my “trial period” for work, so I got fired after missing a whole week.
I could barely empty and load the dishwasher without having to take a break.
As someone who probably plays too many video games, I didn’t even want to play them.
It was hell. I lost my job. I lost weight, and as a skinny guy, I can’t afford to do that. I am NEVER touching that stuff again, even if someone just handed it to me for free.
This stuff is nothing like weed. Look, I’m just a random text post on the internet, so you have no reason to trust me.
However, I’d hazard a guess that if you’re even considering this stuff, you know other people that do drugs. Ask them.
And finally, if you’re already smoking this stuff, just stop now. It’s going to suck, but the sooner you stop, the less it will suck. Get support.
I got to have to fun of detoxing alone in my house, and it was terrible. Get some friends that you trust to help you. Make yourself accountable to someone.
Honestly, get medical help. They’re not going to turn you over to the cops, and while no magic pill eliminates all your problems, they can make it a bit easier for you.
